Account Deletion Request

This page provides instructions for requesting deletion of your Neuropunk mobile application account.

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you request account deletion, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

  • Account Information: Your username, email address, and profile details
  • Authentication Data: Login credentials and authentication tokens
  • User Preferences: App settings, personalization options, and preferences
  • Activity Data: Usage history, listening history, and in-app activity logs
  • Communication History: Support tickets and chat history with our team
  • Device Information: Associated device identifiers and push notification tokens

What Data Will Be Retained

In compliance with legal and business requirements, certain data may be retained for limited periods:

  • Payment Records: Transaction history and billing information will be retained for 7 years to comply with tax and accounting regulations
  • Legal Compliance Data: Information required for legal obligations, fraud prevention, or dispute resolution will be retained as legally required
  • Aggregated Analytics: Anonymous, non-personally identifiable usage statistics may be retained for service improvement

Data Deletion Timeline

  • Account Deactivation: Your account will be deactivated within 1 business day of your request
  • Data Removal: Personal data will be permanently deleted from active systems within 30 days
  • Backup Systems: Data will be removed from backup systems within 90 days

How to Request Account Deletion

Follow these simple steps to request deletion of your Neuropunk account:

Step 1: Gather Your Information

Before starting the deletion request, please have one of the following ready:

  • Email Address: The email associated with your Neuropunk account
  • User ID: Found in the Neuropunk app under Settings → scroll to the bottom to find your User ID

Step 2: Open Support Chat

Click the button below to open a chat with our support team. This will automatically start a new account deletion request.

You'll need to provide your User ID and email address from the app settings

Step 3: Provide Your Information

In the chat, please provide either:

  • Your account email address
  • Your User ID (found in app settings at the bottom)

Step 4: Confirm Your Request

Our support team will verify your identity and confirm the account deletion request. You will receive:

  • Confirmation that your request has been received
  • Expected timeline for account deletion
  • Information about any remaining obligations (e.g., active subscriptions)

Important Notes

⚠️ Before requesting deletion, please note:

  • Irreversible Action: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone
  • Subscription Cancellation: Cancel any active subscriptions through Google Play Store before requesting deletion to avoid future charges
  • Data Export: If you want a copy of your data, request it before deletion
  • Loss of Content: You will lose access to all purchased content and subscription benefits

Alternative to Deletion

If you're experiencing issues with the app or want to take a break, consider these alternatives:

  • Log Out: Simply log out of the app without deleting your account
  • Disable Notifications: Turn off push notifications in app settings
  • Cancel Subscription: Cancel your subscription while keeping your account
  • Contact Support: Let us know about any issues – we're here to help!
